Matt Misso first thing I ever bought from bandcamp. marvelous. now if I can get it downloaded again. Okay I got it and I'm back. This is a banger. Took exactly one listen for me to know I had to have it. Naturally with bandcamp it's common to see positive reviews since we're often able to hear the release first. This one should be considered GLOWING, SHIMMERING and I'm being it out of the way. Highest possible recommendation. I wish I knew how to do this. Masses of colored fractals in the void of space

Maximilian Spiegel The Virtual Institute Vienna is one of the Austrian capital's most exciting and invigorating (virtual and actual) spaces of activity, and the sonic and visual manifestations of its practice, recorded and in concert, never fail to impress me. This dynamic release is particularly special, not least due to its stunning artwork. Also: If you ever get an opportunity to see Jung An Tagen live, don't waste it. Favorite track: Nie & Nimmer.

about

You could look at Aeussere as an austere, precise, chilly minimal synthesizer record. It reminds me more of an intimate sound installation piece. I imagine surreal blotches of color, or, as seen on the album cover, an amorphous white blob painted in oils, dripping a sliver of brightly colored ooz against a vast black canvas. Every note is like a finely placed stroke; an overall methodical piece of art.
