Dave H. There were many ways to describe this release as its own little genre, like tropical electronica, beachwave, or outer space surf. Seriously, something about mixing easy listening, guitar music with out-of-this-world synth production strikes me as unique and refreshing enough to least a lasting impression. Listen to Canopy Stories, because the mixing on this really compliments these two different worlds for something you'd only find hidden in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy~ Favorite track: Paradise Kiss.

Lars Jacobsson Weird, warm and wonderful space music! Imagine if a fusion guitarist and members of Yellow Magic Orchestra were jamming over vaporwave soundscapes...
The kind of music you'd expect to heart at the intergalactic pirate-bar in a trippy 1979 space anime. Favorite track: Strange Strain.

about

Euglossine has released a string of consistent releases over the past year, and he continues to refine his bright electro-fusion sound on Canopy Stories. The opening track alone is a complex tour of modal guitar and deeply composed electronics that replants fusion music's place in the current electronic underground.
